Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Defends Herself Against 93-Year-Old Holocaust Survivor Who Called Her St

While the survivors of the Holocaust who are still alive today are not too many, most of them are quite vocal on various political topics, and it is not rare to see some strong-worded statements from people who have gone through this nightmare in their lives.

Recently, Ed Mosberg, one of the few remaining Holocaust survivors in the US, has taken the opportunity to express his disappointment at politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, claiming that she should leave the political scene for good.

Mosberg said that Ocasio-Cortez needs to be removed from Congress completely, pointing out that she has allegedly been spreading anti-Semitic messages, and has been promoting hatred and “stupidity,” according to him.

Mosberg told The Post: “She should be removed from Congress. She’s spreading anti-Semitism, hatred, and stupidity. The people on the border aren’t forced to be there — they go there on their own will. If someone doesn’t know the difference, either they’re playing stupid, or they don’t care.”

However, he could not point out any specific examples to justify his claims. As a result, many have fired back at him on social media, accusing him of using antisemitism as an unjustified attack on the Democrat.

The comment might have been provoked by recent statements made by Ocasio-Cortez, in which she compared the immigration camps on the country’s borders with Hitler’s concentration camps.

The 93-year-old man pointed out that the comparison was not justified, because the people in those camps were there “voluntarily.”

The man did not clarify how people being held against their will could be seen as doing that on their own free will.

He added: “She should be taught a lesson. If you’re not there, you will never know what happened. She doesn’t want to learn — she’s looking for excuses. I would like to nominate her for the Nobel Prize in stupidity.”

AOC’s rep defended her by explaining: “She made a distinction between a death camp and a concentration camp. She’s been pretty outspoken about the issue.”

The recent comments by both Ocasio-Cortez and Mosberg have been highly controversial and divisive, and have sparked significant debates on the political scene.

Ocasio-Cortez has had to deal with her fair share of attacks so far, but she seems to be handling herself just fine for the time being.
