by Anonymousreply 4May 10, 2023 2:41 PM

Five counts of wire fraud

by Anonymousreply 5May 10, 2023 2:42 PM

Three counts of unlawful monetary transactions

by Anonymousreply 6May 10, 2023 2:42 PM

Well....there is some hope! Now...will he resign or be thrown out?

by Anonymousreply 8May 10, 2023 2:43 PM

Thirteen FELONIES!

Lube up, you crazy bitch. Lube up!

by Anonymousreply 9May 10, 2023 2:44 PM

He is looking at some serious jail time.

by Anonymousreply 11May 10, 2023 2:45 PM

Great job, REPUBLICANS, letting yet another FELON into top-secret meetings where he had access to our security details.

Bang-up job you dumb bastards.

by Anonymousreply 13May 10, 2023 2:47 PM

R4 and R10

I hope we find out some day the truth about why it is TAKING SO FUCKING LONG to get Trump.

I wasn’t arrested. I’m in town because I was invited to be the keynote speaker at a courthouse function.

by Anonymousreply 17May 10, 2023 2:51 PM

They arrested my identical twin brother. I'm ok.

by Anonymousreply 18May 10, 2023 2:53 PM

For some reason, when I see pictures of George Santos, I think of the recently departed Dame Edna. Pictures of Santos just have a comical aspect to them, though Edna was in on the joke. This guy just wants to live it -- on the public's dime.

by Anonymousreply 19May 10, 2023 2:53 PM

Time to confess. I'm an undercover agent for JFK, Jr guys! We are taking down the Global Elite within the US government and Elon and Putin are helping. So, no worries! It will all come out soon. It's part of The Plan. God's Plan.

by Anonymousreply 20May 10, 2023 2:55 PM

Yes, George Anthony Kitara Santos Devolder Rivanche has committed crimes, but he's also the best-selling recording artist of all times. Surely he gets a pass.

by Anonymousreply 22May 10, 2023 2:59 PM

When did he become a US citizen?

by Anonymousreply 23May 10, 2023 3:00 PM

Will this effect debt ceiling talks/voting?

by Anonymousreply 24May 10, 2023 3:03 PM

Greencarded in, R23. He and CroMarge are secretly married. He can't get enough of her huge, throbbing shenis and Qevin McC loves to watch!

and expose all the long island NYer repugs that greased the machine that put this fool in office. humiliate them all.

by Anonymousreply 26May 10, 2023 3:03 PM

Wondering if fast-tracking Santos’s indictments may set precedent for indicting another elected official on similar charges—soon.

by Anonymousreply 27May 10, 2023 3:04 PM

He’s a major flight risk. So, lock him up!

by Anonymousreply 30May 10, 2023 3:11 PM

by Anonymousreply 31May 10, 2023 3:12 PM

by Anonymousreply 34May 10, 2023 3:15 PM

by Anonymousreply 35May 10, 2023 3:17 PM

OP, he's NOT Black. He's Brown, Hispanic. And he's our Brother

by Anonymousreply 36May 10, 2023 3:22 PM

by Anonymousreply 40May 10, 2023 3:40 PM

Now maybe we can discover who bankrolled him...

by Anonymousreply 41May 10, 2023 3:56 PM

Obviously the money man behind Santos is Hunter Biden, R41. He and his giant, beautiful wang orchestrated this entire fiasco to smear the good-hearted Republican patriots! The Biden Crime Family strikes again!

by Anonymousreply 43May 10, 2023 4:01 PM

Can we get a copy of the booking sheet, and learn once and for all the grifter queen’s real name?

by Anonymousreply 44May 10, 2023 4:04 PM

Karma is coming for Kitara🤣🤣😂

by Anonymousreply 45May 10, 2023 4:05 PM

by Anonymousreply 48May 10, 2023 4:17 PM

Another conservative black man targeted by the radical left!

by Anonymousreply 49May 10, 2023 4:18 PM

What a horrible week for late night talk shows to be off the air due to the writer's strike. Can you imagine the fun Steve Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, SNL and Bill Maher could have with this breaking news ?

BTW, like a good American citizen I switched to FOX NEWS this morning to see their coverage while all the other networks were breaking this around 10 am (when the indictments were hot off the press) and not a peep from them. They had more important things to cover - Hunter Biden.

by Anonymousreply 50May 10, 2023 4:20 PM

Oh no! How will he get by if he's thrown out of Congress?

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 51May 10, 2023 4:26 PM

I'm a Latina woman and I can personally say that Biden did nothing for me, my life only changed a little bit and it was for the worse. Everything was so much better under Trump though. I felt respected, as all women feel respected when it comes to Trump - which I never do when democrats are involved. Ask honest to the core Tara Reade!

by Anonymousreply 55May 10, 2023 6:09 PM

Once upon a time there was a little black girl in the Brewster Projects of Detroit, Michigan. At 15, she was spotted by an Ebony Fashion Fair talent scout and her modeling career took off.

by Anonymousreply 58May 10, 2023 6:19 PM

WHY DON'T THEY ARREST JUSTICE THOMAS FOR FINANCIAL FRAUD AS WELL??????

Santos deserves this. But its ALWAYS the lowest hanging fruit they go after.

by Anonymousreply 60May 10, 2023 6:26 PM

Jared Kushner grifted several BILLION dollars in the Middle East.

And we get Kitara for 75K.

by Anonymousreply 61May 10, 2023 6:33 PM

That. Mugshot is the perfect photo of a malignant narcissist who for one second has come to see facts and himself as they are.

by Anonymousreply 62May 10, 2023 6:41 PM

Are they housing Miss Kitara in Cellblock D?

by Anonymousreply 64May 10, 2023 6:44 PM

Next up: Dancing With The Stars!!!!

by Anonymousreply 66May 10, 2023 6:48 PM

I just LOLed on a train when I saw the mugshot. That is a quintessential deer in headlights moment. And he did a sloppy job shaving this morning. I suspect Santos is more upset about his appearance than the charges right now, initially. He's been at this for years and is likely experiencing some form of denial.

by Anonymousreply 67May 10, 2023 6:54 PM

She's looking paniced in her mugshot, no?

by Anonymousreply 68May 10, 2023 6:58 PM

He's probably like Trump and didn't expect to win. Only wanted to grift as much as possible from running.

by Anonymousreply 69May 10, 2023 7:01 PM

Where can I donate to the Kitara Rivache Legal Defense Fund?

by Anonymousreply 70May 10, 2023 7:08 PM

Of course they wait until AFTER her coronation to arrest her. Who’s running the UK now?

by Anonymousreply 71May 10, 2023 7:13 PM

You guys - I can't stop laughing at the answers in this thread ! Please, keep them coming !!!

by Anonymousreply 72May 10, 2023 7:32 PM

So will he be removed as a representative?!

Who decides who replaces him?

Will his district vote in a democrat?

What will that shift in the House?

by Anonymousreply 73May 10, 2023 7:33 PM

The cowardly GOP are sticking by their grifting drag Queen.

by Anonymousreply 74May 10, 2023 7:35 PM

R73 McCarthy will do everything in his power to keep him in office. The last thing he would want is a special election and a Dem wins the seat (as it has traditionally happened). The House is working with a razor thin majority as it is, they can't afford to lose a single seat.

MY QUESTION - what has his BFF Moron Taylor Greene have to say about this ?

by Anonymousreply 75May 10, 2023 7:38 PM

That mugshot looks like AI, are we sure it’s real?

by Anonymousreply 76May 10, 2023 7:44 PM

Wait, That IS NOT HIS MUGSHOT! (I don't think). If you look at pics of him in New York outside of the courthouse, he has different clothes on. The Twitter "mugshot" shoes him in a tie and a different jacket. I think it's either AI or another photo.

by Anonymousreply 77May 10, 2023 7:54 PM

Funny how he's getting the book thrown at him, whilst Aaron Schock got off with barely a slap on the wrist...

by Anonymousreply 78May 10, 2023 7:55 PM

They have the wrong person! He’s not George Santos.

by Anonymousreply 80May 10, 2023 7:58 PM

R78 In all fairness, Shock was much cuter and sexier. I would have done the same if I were Shock's judge - and asked for his gratitude in my private chambers.

by Anonymousreply 81May 10, 2023 8:02 PM

I think this case is going to prove a lot to people and not just the obvious. Of ALL the corrupt people in Congress who've been investigated and in trouble in recent years, THIS is the guy who gets arrested. And he deserves it. But it also proves to us all that the poor and non-connected get the full force of the law while the more privileged always, ALWAYS seem to get better deals or get away entirely.

Both Dems and Republicans in Congress have been able to weasel out of prosecution in recent years, the worst cases leading to them resigning from Congress but nothing more. Santos is poor, stupid, was desperate to be something he wasn't and never was. He lied, conned and grifted but he's still a poor gay Latino. Had he been the son of a privileged family, or more generally liked, or maybe even cuter, it just wouldn't have played out like this.

We should all take note of that as all of this plays out. (And God-forbid Trump becomes president again but if he does, you just know he's gonna pardon little gay Georgie who's been more than willing to do his bidding during his short stay in Congress.)

by Anonymousreply 82May 10, 2023 8:02 PM

I was going to say something similar R82. Look at how fast these charges came down on Kitara, yet Trump, Roger Stone, Bannon, Mike Flynn, Rudy, et al.--years and years have passed and nothing so far. I'm not a Merrick Garland hater, but DOJ could've moved much faster on those investigations.

by Anonymousreply 83May 10, 2023 8:05 PM

"The $500,000 bond package is secured by three sureties. Santos' lawyer Joe Murray told NBC News they want to keep their identities sealed because they are worried about retaliation."

by Anonymousreply 84May 10, 2023 8:12 PM

R82, Santos isn’t some poor little nobody, though. Someone spent a lot of money on his campaign; someone bothered to post bail. And McCarthy cares; he’s protected Santos so far, even though the NY House members begged him to kick Santos out.

by Anonymousreply 85May 10, 2023 8:17 PM

R82 and R83 I think it's because those other criminals knew how to cleverly cover up thier crimes, making it very hard to nab them right away.

Santos, on the other hand, does not appear to be 'that smart' and probably left a paper trail right to his computer. Much easier to arrest him quickly when he left all the evidence right there.

by Anonymousreply 86May 10, 2023 8:18 PM

[quote]He lied, conned and grifted but he's still a poor gay Latino.

Oh, boo-hoo, r82.

by Anonymousreply 87May 10, 2023 8:19 PM

R83, Bannon was indicted on new criminal charges at the end of last year. Flynn and Stone, of course, were both pardoned by Trump.

by Anonymousreply 88May 10, 2023 8:22 PM

'After emerging from the courthouse following his arraignment, Santos expressed confidence that some of the charges against him are "inaccurate."

"I'm gonna have to go and fight to defend myself," Santos told a throng of reporters on Long Island.

"The reality is it's a witch hunt because it makes no sense that in four months, five months, I'm indicted," said Santos, who then railed against President Joe Biden and his family, referencing a Republican memo released earlier in the day alleging his family members received funds from "foreign destinations." (The memo does not detail a specific allegation of a crime committed by the family or relative of the president).

"I'm gonna fight my battle, I'm going to deliver," Santos said, adding that he will clear his name.' - NBC NEWS

So some of the charges are inaccurate, while others are indeed accurate?

by Anonymousreply 136May 11, 2023 4:56 PM

What drag number should Miss Kitara do in the Cellblock D talent show? Material Girl or Nasty? Maybe I should start a poll.

by Anonymousreply 137May 11, 2023 5:08 PM

They're throwing the book at Santos while Trump, Cawthorn, Cockgobbler get off because Santos is fat, ugly, brown, and did drag. Way too many strikes against him. Trump was President and a media icon before politics, so he'll remain beyond full reproach. Cawthorn is young, blonde, has a very handsome face, and is a cripple, so double sympathy points. Cockgobbler has a very fit body that keeps the Arab billionaires shoving their thick oiled cocks deep in his muscle pussy. Santos has no redeeming qualities to save his ass, so it's off to prison with his shlubby, guppie-lipped, kitten heel and synthetic hair wearing self. You know he has a smelly ass. No Barry-style breakout for him!

Also, R24 it's affect not effect.

by Anonymousreply 138May 11, 2023 5:12 PM

R138 I think they're throwing the book at him because he made it so damn easy for them to do so. He's not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree - he didn't know how to cover his tracks like the rest of them did.

by Anonymousreply 139May 11, 2023 5:24 PM

Cawthorn didn't do nearly the number of illegal things that Santos did, some financial shit in his office for which he paid a fine.

by Anonymousreply 140May 11, 2023 5:36 PM

At first I also wondered if it's because of Kitara being a shlubby gay that this happened so quickly, but I think it's because it's a really easy case to win. Sounds like there's a paper trail a mile long. Besides, both Democrats and Republicans want to see Santos go away so it would be a win-win for some federal prosecutors.

by Anonymousreply 141May 11, 2023 5:41 PM
