Kristin Cavallari To Legally Go Back To Her Maiden Name After Jay Cutler Split

Kristin Cavallari is still how fans know her as since she is a public person known by that name from before her marriage with Jay Cutler. However, legally speaking, she did take on his last name and now that they are no longer together, Kristin Elizabeth Cutler will no longer exist!

That’s right! It looks like the reality star is currently working on dropping the NFL player’s name and taking back her maiden name instead!

The fact that she took Jay Cutler’s surname back in 2013 when the two tied the knot only proves how devoted the former The Hills star was to him and to their relationship at the time.

As you know, however, a few years after, it all came crumbling down and now, Kristin is ready to go back to her maiden name, which she’s been using for professional reasons anyway.

This is also why some fans were not aware that she had legally become Kristin Cutler upon marrying Jay before her virtual interview for On Air with Ryan Seacrest earlier today!

The name on the screen popped up as Kristin Cutler and the host pointed that out, prompting her to explain: ‘Technically I’m still Cutler. [I’m] working on that, but I’m literally going to take a note right now to change it.’

As she said this, she held up a piece of paper, thanking Seacrest for letting her know how her name was showing up during the Zoon call.

While some did not know about the name, the star did actually let everyone know at the time of her wedding.

Following the ceremony in 2013, she posted a pic of their wedding bands and in the caption, she wrote: ‘I’m officially Kristin Elizabeth Cutler!!!!!’

Kristin and Jay ended things in April of this year after 7 years of marriage and 3 kids together.
