Zanessa- High School Love. - CelebMix

Everyone’s favorite High School Musical couple, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron, were known as “Zanessa”.

The pair met at the auditions for The Disney Channel Original movie in 2005, where both were cast in the lead roles of Gabriella Montez and Troy Bolton.

Zanessa hit it off from day one and reportedly started dating in 2006, the same year the first film was released.

In  that same year, Zanessa  took home the surfboard at the Teen Choice Awards  for  “TV Choice Chemistry”.

Zac even starred in the video for Vanessa’s single Say Ok.

In February 2009 the couple performed at the Academy Awards with Hugh Jackman, and Beyonce.

Zac and Vanessa were everyone’s fairytale, fans adored their relationship and thought it was true love.

Sadly  like most High school relationships the couple broke up in 2010 after four years of dating. Vanessa spoke candidly about the relationship to the New York Times. Where she said how hard it had been to date somebody who was getting attention from girls all over the world. She admitted that the jealousy brought out the worst in her and she became quite an angry person.

“I went through a phase when I was really mean because I was so fed up. Girls were running after him, and I was giving them death stares. Then I realized that’s not what that’s about,” ‘Spread the love, be a good person, they support you, be nice.”
